The premiere is finally here. Check out Rihanna in her new music video Rockstart 101. I like how dirty and grungy the video looks plus Rihanna pays a little respect to guitar rocker Slash as she dressed like him.
Rihanna is featured in the latest issue of YOU Magazine where she talks about meeting Jay-Z and auditioning back when she was only 17. She also speaks on meeting her friend Melissa and how she got her into liking fashion:
When Melissa arrived at school she really stood out. She was a black girl with blonde hair who wore make-up – she was the only girl in school who would wear make-up, because we weren’t allowed. We became friends and she would come over to my house with her older sister’s magazines and we would go through them and say, “Hey, we could do something like that.” That’s when I started to get into fashion and make-up. A year after I met her I dropped out of the cadets. I was like, “This is terrible! They are just screaming at me, I don’t like this!”’ she says, laughing at the memory.
She was also asked about her new beau Matt Kemp in which she does a complete 360 and says he is not her boyfrend but really good friends….. I guess we’re back where we started with this one.

Rihanna has shot two videos one the song “Te Amo” and the other video was “RockStar 101″. Rock Star 101 is soon to be released as she lets the internet in on how the video will look. She is rockin a red wig, which is cool, because she looks great in it. Check out The Rock Star 101 Teaser.
Rihanna was in her casual look as she left her hotel to head out to London’s Cipriani restaurant. She met up with LA Reid who is the CEO of Island Def Jam and Akon for lunch.

Even though they are speaking another language you can tell after he took the song off he was like alright thats enough , thats all you need. From that short snippet, it sounds like it will be a great song. As we all know Rihanna is gearing up for her 5th studio album with David Guetta as one of the overseas super producers to be part of the project. Can’t wait until the full track releases. Rihanna showed up to her boo Matt Kemps baseball game all decked in her LA Dodgers gear!!
Rihanna recently finished shooting the video for her latest single RockStar. She had a few rock cameos including Travis Barker on the drums and it was reported she asked that Nikki Sixx from the group Motley Crue would make a cameo as a bassist but she declined.
Also keeping on the rock path, Rihanna is prepping for her Last Girl On Earth Tour where she is currently taking drum lessons with Travis. She is actually pretty decent for a beginner.
