Antoine Dodson appeared on the Today Show promoting his new song, Run & Tell That, now #35 on iTunes.
His song “Run & Tell That”, started off as him being loud and obnoxious on the news station but after it got into the right hands it was remixed and made into an actual song. The people are loving it, and downloading it on itunes. Dodson says he didn’t know it would get this big, but he will use the money to move his family out of the area they live in now.
While Lauryn Hill was on stage performing her old song Oh La La La from when she was with the Fugees, she brought out Beyonce, Jay-Z, Swizz Beats, Alicia Keyz, John Legend, Mary J. Blige and Chris Rock. It was so funny how everyone came and and was quick to leave the stage lol, only being modest though.
Bow Wowlooked very nice, and studious lol on the “Wendy Williams” show that aired yesterday. He was on the show talking about his new movie “Lottery Ticket”. Wendy also asked him about his relationship with Angela Simmons, check out the video to see the interview.
Solange made a guest appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show to perform her duet with Of Montreal. Solange is transitioning more and more on the 70′s tip. They performed the song “Sex Karma“.
I must say that Solange’s outfit is cute.
Sidenote: Pic above is also from last night when Solange hit up the Green Label Sound Show at the Bowery Ballroom
President Barack Obamapayed a visit to the show “The View”. While us Obama lovers were happy, his haters were upset such as Sara Palin and Meghan McCain(John McCain’s daughter). Rosie O’Donnell even slammed our president.
Sarah Palin Twittered:
“President with no time to visit porous US/Mexican border to offer help to those risking life to secure us, but lotso’ time to chat on The View? I’m headed to border in near future… let’s see how quickly his travel schedule will allow that border visit after all.”
Meghan Mccain blogged on The Daily Beast:
“Once again it was all smoke and mirrors, not surprising for a president known for his poetic use of language. I found the president’s appearance pretty predictable and his answers very rehearsed. I mean, how many times can he talk about how he has Jay-Z on his iPod?
and lastly Rosie O’Donnell said:
isn’t too keen on President Barack Obama‘s decision to appear with the ladies of The View.
“I have mixed feelings about that,” O’Donnell, 48, sniffed on her Sirius XM radio show Wednesday, the day before Obama’s episode aired.
“I don’t really think sitting presidents should go do fluffy daytime TV shows. Maybe an hour on Oprah or something,” O’Donnell sniffed.
“I don’t really want to see him on The View, although I’m happy for them,” she added. “That’s a good booking, and Barbara [Walter's] going to come back that day after her heart surgery.”
These people need to get a life, we finally have a versatile president, that is showing us he is actually human, and is not tight a**, and people still cant except it. I came to the conclusion whatever you do people will never be satisfied.
I was so excited when i saw CB, Usher, and Elephant Mandancing together. I’m not sure if CB or Usher have any Caribbean in them, but they sure killed the dances. Check out this performance!!!
Below are photos of Willow Smith, aka little RiRi lol doing a photo shoot in Paris. Also, Will Smith, Jada PinkettSmith, Jaden and Willow attend the The Karate Kid premiere in Paris.
Foxy Brown performed Live at BB Kings In NYC last night !!! KarenCivil.Com had all the news:
Foxy Brown performed live at the famous B.B. King’s Blues Club & Grill in New York City’s Times Square.
Once Foxy bounced on stage, she ran through a litany of hits and fan favorites, including “Stylin’,” “Ain’t No,” and “No One Else.” Between songs, Fox Boogie took time out thank her fans, offer tenets of girl power, and rail against her detractors and enemies.
Halfway through the set, Foxy introduced a live band, who backed her for the remainder of the show, powering through hits like “Na Na Be Like” and “Oh Yeah” with special guest Spragga Benz.
Spragga wasn’t the only guest to appear onstage. Earlier in the set, DoItAll of Lords of the Underground performed his classics “Funky Child” and “Chief Rocka” as well his recent Pete Rock-produced “Surrender.” Afterward, the rapid fire lyricist implored the NYPD to “leave Foxy Brown the **** alone,” an exaltation which was met with a great deal of applause from the crowd.
And after Foxy declared that The Firm was back together, AZ and Cormega came out for a raucous version of their posse cut “Affirmative Action.” Feeling the energy, AZ then ripped through his memorable verses from “Phone Tap” and “Life’s A Bitch.” Curiously, with all of the talk about the return of The Firm, there was no mention of Nas.
Though the show hit a few snags here and there—most notably, the performance of “BK Anthem,” where Foxy and her hype man got stuck on the line, “The home of Biggie and Jay”—it was an overall success. From the moment she was on stage until the announcement that her oft-delayed album Black Roses is indeed coming out by the end of the year, Foxy Brown had the rapt attention and unyielding love of her fans.
This was too funny, I mean a lot of people don’t know the words to Michael Jackson’s music back in the day. I mean look at Chris Tucker when he use to joke on some of the gibberish MJ said, but this was too funny. Ne-Yo made an appearance to The Big Boy Morning Show out in LA, and he sung a couple of his hits (Champaign Life, So Sick, and Closer) Then they snuck in a couple of MJ classics (Thriller, and Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough).
They should of had me on the show, I would of sung that!! lmao.
