Now I usually don’t watch American Idol until it’s like the top 5 lol. But since nothing really comes on at the moment on Tuesdays I decided to watch the Premiere of season 8 last night. Lol what stuck out to me was one of the contestants by the name of Eric Thomas aka Sexual Chocolate. He sung ribbon in the sky by Stevie Wonder. Though the boy was looking decent, his voice sure wasn’t which he received a NO but to top it all off was the fact that his mom said if he didn’t make it then she’s buying him a car ?? wtf?

BET will be having a new reality show titles “Harlem Heights“, (hopefully this won’t be a drab). This reality show is about a group of black young educated proffessionals living and working in New York. Basically the cast either knew each other or one of the producers to get on the show and amongst them is a female by the name of Brooke Crittendon. Brooke could be best known as a former assistant to MTV News Chief David Sirulnick and back in 2005 she dated rapper Kanye West.
Brooke was on BET Q & A session on Saturday promoting the show as well as explaining that her reason for doing the show was to repair some of the tabloid damage she endured during her relationship with West. During the session she talked about dating Kanye without mentioning his name.
”I was involved with a very famous rapper for a number of years,” she said. “And I worked in the news and documentary department (at MTV). So a lot of our pop news involved myself. But because I sort of played the background to the person that I was dating, I had to go through people saying things about me or just sort of assuming who I was… I just was like, ‘I just want to let people know what I really am and what I really do. I’m not just this person’s girlfriend.’”
