Lupe Fiasco called Barack Obama a terrorist, and defends his statements on the Bill O’Reilly show. We all know how Bill O’Reilly is when it comes to rap artist, so this was a full on debate !!!
While Michelle and Barack talk to their supporters, Michelle holds one of the fans baby, and the baby begins to cry hysterically. Barack makes a statement saying “You better give that baby back, and Michelle hands the baby to him, and the baby stops crying automatically. I thought it was so cute!!
Barack Obama did an interview with Rolling Stone magazine and here is some of the inside scoop:
What do you think of Fox News? Do you think it’s a good institution for America and for democracy?
[Laughs] Look, as president, I swore to uphold the Constitution, and part of that Constitution is a free press. We’ve got a tradition in this country of a press that oftentimes is opinionated. The golden age of an objective press was a pretty narrow span of time in our history. Before that, you had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view. It’s a point of view that I disagree with. It’s a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world. But as an economic enterprise, it’s been wildly successful. And I suspect that if you ask Mr. Murdoch what his number-one concern is, it’s that Fox is very successful.
What music have you been listening to lately? What have you discovered, what speaks to you these days?
Thanks to Reggie [Love, the president's personal aide], my rap palate has greatly improved. Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I’ve got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert. Malia and Sasha are now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things. Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days.
President Barack Obamapayed a visit to the show “The View”. While us Obama lovers were happy, his haters were upset such as Sara Palin and Meghan McCain(John McCain’s daughter). Rosie O’Donnell even slammed our president.
Sarah Palin Twittered:
“President with no time to visit porous US/Mexican border to offer help to those risking life to secure us, but lotso’ time to chat on The View? I’m headed to border in near future… let’s see how quickly his travel schedule will allow that border visit after all.”
Meghan Mccain blogged on The Daily Beast:
“Once again it was all smoke and mirrors, not surprising for a president known for his poetic use of language. I found the president’s appearance pretty predictable and his answers very rehearsed. I mean, how many times can he talk about how he has Jay-Z on his iPod?
and lastly Rosie O’Donnell said:
isn’t too keen on President Barack Obama‘s decision to appear with the ladies of The View.
“I have mixed feelings about that,” O’Donnell, 48, sniffed on her Sirius XM radio show Wednesday, the day before Obama’s episode aired.
“I don’t really think sitting presidents should go do fluffy daytime TV shows. Maybe an hour on Oprah or something,” O’Donnell sniffed.
“I don’t really want to see him on The View, although I’m happy for them,” she added. “That’s a good booking, and Barbara [Walter's] going to come back that day after her heart surgery.”
These people need to get a life, we finally have a versatile president, that is showing us he is actually human, and is not tight a**, and people still cant except it. I came to the conclusion whatever you do people will never be satisfied.
Wyclef Jean to Run For President? Us Magazine States:
Wyclef Jean is considering running for president of his native Haiti.
“I can’t sing forever,” Jean, 37, tells CNN. He says talk of an official campaign is still premature, but the country’s locals had “drafted” him into politics.
Jean has already filled out the necessary paperwork should he decide to move forward with a campaign, Canadian newspaper Le Droit reports.
A statement released by his foundation, Yele Haiti, read, “Wyclef’s commitment to his homeland and its youth is boundless, and he will remain its greatest supporter regardless of whether he is part of the government moving forward. At this time, Wyclef Jean has not announced his intent to run for Haitian president. If and when a decision is made, media will be alerted immediately.”
Jean was always been an outspoken advocate for the Caribbean country in which he was born, and was one of the first celebs to travel to Haiti after the devastating earthquake in January.
Haiti’s current president, René Préval, has reached his term limits and cannot run a third time.
I say he should go for it, he has experience and a lot of background knowledge about Haiti, and he is also a native so go for it Wyclef!!!
