Raquel Robinson, one of the characters on The Game speaks on the rumors going around that the sitcom “The Game” will be cancelled.
“Nothing’s final until it’s final, but it is up in the air,” Robinson said while working the red carpet at the recent NAACP Image Awards. “The CW – they don’t have a comedy development right now. So if “Everybody Hates Chris” does not come back, which they are not coming back, it’s gonna be very difficult to match us with somebody.“
Shifting to a more optimistic tone, Robinson added, “We’re the little engine that could. Our numbers have done amazing and the show is so good. So I think they’re finding a way to keep the show on and BET has already put in interest, so I don’t know. It’s in God’s hands.”
Well all I can say is I really hope they don’t cancel the game, this is really one of the good sitcoms left since TV is all poisoned with reality. I’m just starting to get freaking caught up and it actually has gotten better each episode. If the CW lets them go BET better pick them up because they are already showing repeats on the station. The Game comes Fridays on CW 11 at 8:30pm.

Barnes & Noble would like to publicly apologize for what happened in our Coral Gables, Florida store. We believe that a customer played a cruel joke and placed an inappropriate title in the front window of our store, where we were featuring books written by or about President Obama. We want to assure our customers that the book placed by someone other than our booksellers was never intended to be included in our display and was removed as soon as we became aware of the situation. We are looking into it and are taking the steps necessary so that it does not happen again. From time to time customers will move titles from one area of the store to another. In this particular case, we do not condone whatever message may have been intended with the placement of this title in our Presidential display. It certainly was not part of our merchandising and we regret that we didn’t see the placement of this title immediately.

Well ain’t this some ….. anyhoo. It has been reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown have reunited since that incident and are back together. I guess its really true about rapper Eve’s song: “love is blind and it will take over your mind, when you think its love and its truly not you need to elevate and find….”According to a People Magazine, a source tells them that they are back together and they are spending time together at one of Diddy’s homes… so I guess Diddy is harboring the enemy hmm?? People Magazine also said:
“While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”
PEOPLE reports that Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday one week ago. “He called to wish her happy birthday,” a source told the magazine. “They’ve reached out to each other. It’s been mutual.”
Chris Brown will allegedly plead self-defense in his court case, stating Rihanna attacked him. Charged with making criminal threats, Brown was released on $50,000 bail. The 19-year-old singer is waiting to see if the charges will be brought to court, and is set to accuse Rihanna of initiating the altercation on February 7. “Chris is already building his case. He’s saying she threw a phone at him, then hit him in the head and basically just lost it. He’s saying she attacked him,” according to one unnamed source. Says another unnamed source, “She’s devastated all this has become so public. She’s just angry and extremely humiliated that the whole world knows how much pain she’s in right now.” Los Angeles district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison stated, “It may not happen. We don’t have the evidence yet. Los Angeles police detectives are still investigating. If detectives determine they need more time, they’ll set a new date for him to come into court.” Brown’s arraignment date was originally set for March 5, but could be postponed pending the ongoing investigation.
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, are suing a UK baby stroller company called Silver Cross for using unauthorized photos of them and their twins in their stroller for an advertisment. J.Lo says that Silver Cross is deceiving the public to make it look like the couple are endorsing the stroller advertisement. They will be suing for $5 million for damages and permanent injunction against any further use of their names or images in the company’s advertising and any profit they made by using their images.
Jennifer Hudson will be singing today on the Oprah Winfrey Show. She will be singing her new single “If This Isn’t Love” that is on her current album. She will also start her tour on March 31st with Robin Thicke. I’m happy for her. Once the performance is out, I will surely post it.
