RihannaDaily can confirm that “Te Amo” (produced by Stargate), is indeed Rihanna’s follow up “Rated R” single to “Rude Boy”. “Te Amo” is Spanish for I Love You. As we all know, it was the only track which leaked on the internet that made it on “Rated R”. It is one of the most different tracks on the album, beautifully written by James Fauntleroy, topped the Brazilian charts and made the Top 60 in Sweden earlier this year even without an official release.
Based on the feedback and poll results, whether the majority disagrees, we should help support it regardless, “Rated R” is a masterpiece. It will do incredibly well especially in the Hispanic markets.
Make sure to look out for her performance of “Te Amo” on American Idol next Wednesday! The music video is being shot sooner than you think! Stay tuned for more details.
One of Ciara’s tracks from her upcoming album leaks onto the web. Its called Speechless and The Dream who is currently producing the project managed to get himself a feature on the album lol. Check it out below and let us know your thoughts!
Dirty Money releases their third single off their multiple pushed back album Last Train to Paris. The song is called Hello Good Morning, and its featuring rapper T.I. This is another uptempo club track, and its mainly T.I rapping with the rest of the group singing the chorus. Diddy has a few parts here and there, but one thing I can remember about the song are the words Groupie, and Hello, Hello, Hello Good Morning.
Album in stores June 22. In the meantime, listen below
Nicki Minaj releases her official new single Massive Attack off her upcoming album. The song is ft. Sean Garrett and was produced by Alex Da Kid. To be honest, with all this hoopla and hype over the song, I was not really impressed with it. I mean she already gained her fan base so it wouldn’t really matter what her first single could be. A few weeks ago we posted some pics of on the scene footage from on the set of her video. The pic above is another one… and Amber Rose makes a cameo. Video is to premiere on Wednesday on BET’s 106 & Park.
Vote and lets us know whether its a keep or sweep!
This video is so unique and has a special meaning behind it. As I was watching it I was thinking what is Erykah Badu thinking, but it all makes sense in the end. This video was inspired by Matt & Kim, two artist who originally did a video that Badu reenacted. Check out her new video “Window Seat”.
Smooches, smooches, smooches everywhere, first Teyana Taylor, than Kelly Rowland, and now Sean Garrett. I was listening to one of my mix cd’s a few minutes ago and noticed that not only did Teyana Taylor and Kelly Rowland cover the song “Smooches” but Sean Garrett did also, and his is featuring Young Joc. I dont really like his version, but let me know what you guys think.
I was on Necole Bitchie when yesterday she posted that a song called Smoochez that was produced by Banglasdesh and got leaked. You would think its all cool and just take a listen, until it was noticed that Teyana Taylor covered the same exact song and mentioned that Smoochez will be her first official single for her new album. Now how did all this happen? well after NB reached out to the label, they simply replied:
Typically many artists will “demo” a song. One artist will buy the song. The artist who buys the song owns the song, although there may be different versions of the song that have been recorded. This is done all the time. Usually a producer will leak the unreleased versions to either force the artist who paid for the song to put out their version so that the producer can start getting publishing or there was a falling out between the producer and the artist who owns the track. In this situation, I don’t know what really happened.
So maybe Bangladesh leaked it?? who knows, but I hope Teyana Taylor rethinks putting this track out since it already leaked, and it was first leaked by another artist covering it. But take a listen to both and let us know who sung the song better Teyana or Kelly?
Ryan Leslie teams up with Adidas Originals to make a short video for his song “When I Think About Love”. I like the song, just wish the video was longer.
