My siblings were telling me about this track that was released about a day ago. After listening to it, Drake vents to his ex girl about things he has done while he is adjusting to fame. He calls his ex saying “f* that n*gga that you love so bad” and basically come back to him. Drake sings the majority of the midtempo track, and I am assuming this could be his next single off his sophmore album titled “Take Care”.
I guess I am trying to figure out why is it called Marvin’s Room? is that her new man?
Finally Nicki came to her senses to make a track without all the nonsense that brought her to mainstream. Nicki drops a track called Top Of The World where she dedicates to all the people on the come up. She is rapping over Queen Pen’s “party ain’t a party” and her voice sounds even more calmer like her underground days. The track is not a hit, but its decent…whoever is singing the chorus sounds a little off key.
Beyonce covers the July issue of Essence Magazine. All smiles with a summery natural look as she gears up for the release of her fourth album in the next few months. Yesterday she released her second single following her debut track “Who Run The World”. The BabyFace co written track is midtempo and titled “Best Thing I’ve Never Had”.
I must have missed the loop that 1+1 is not her follow up single. I wonder if it was just a random track that she performed on American Idol?? But take a listen.
Rihanna premiered her new video for her latest single called “Man Down”. This video was shot in Jamaica, and it has a powerful meaning to it from the beginning when she shot a man down, and than fast forwarding to the night before when she was sexually abused by the same man. Check out the video below!!!
Diggy Simmons releases his first official single titled Copy and Paste. Diggy is currently signed Atlantic Records and its good to see that he finally has a single dropping. Diggy is nominated for the 2011 BET Awards amongst the stars like Willow Smith. Jaden Smith, Keke Palmer for the “Young Star” category.
Vote and let us know whether his single is a keep or a sweep.
Omarion decides to do another 90′s classic cover. Last time we posted a track of him covering Jodeci’s Come And Talk To Me. Now he’s back with Aaliyah’s 96′ track One In A Million. Take a listen and let us know whether its a keep or a sweep.
Beyonce released a second teaser for her new single ‘Girls Who Run The World’. She is really making her fans wait, but from what I see it reminds me of the Run This town Video, just the strong and empowering part of it. Check the video out!!!
A new track from Chris Brown hit the web recently and its a slow jam that is actually not featured on his current F.A.M.E album. It is called Fools With You, and I am assuming its either a track that didn’t make the album, or possibly a new track to be featured on his followed up to F.A.M.E titled Fortune, which we heard he is currently in the studio working on.
