The whole crew over at Young Money graces the cover of the September/ October 09′ issue of The Source Magazine. Looking at this cover with all its members, I only know like 3 people (minus lil wayne) and where’s Bow Wow? wasn’t he signed??
FYI: Why did I totally forget that this magazine still existed??

Janet Jackson covers the newest issued of Bazaar Magazine. She opens up about her life now after the death of her brother Michael, her music, her single life (yes it’s been confirmed she is single) and more. I also caught wind that it has been confirmed from MTV that Janet Jackson will be opening the MTV VMA awards in dedication to her brother. I can’t wait to see the tribute, I know it will be hot!! tune in this sunday September 13 for the awards show at 9pm EST.

Mary J Blige also covers the October issue of Essence Magazine.. Loving the purple color right now.
Kanye West is on the cover of French Magazine Liberation Next. The title in french nouveau roi de la pop means New King Of Pop. This was the whole controversy a couple of weeks ago that Kanye said that he was the next King of Pop whihc is false. Umm… I don’t like it. It’s good he’s comfortable with his appearance but, all I can say is please go to the gym…

US Weekly States:
Jay-Z says not everyone was thrilled when he wed Beyonce.
In October’s O: The Oprah Magazine, he tells Oprah Winfrey they managed to keep their April 2008 wedding a secret thanks to “late planning.”
He said there were “very few” close friends and family at the ceremony at his penthouse apartment in NYC’s Tribeca neighborhood. The newlyweds later threw a lavish party that included Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and pal Gwyneth Paltrow.
“The sad part is that we offended some,” he said of not inviting a lot of friends. “But people who love you understand. Because at the end of the day, it’s your day.”
I believe Jay-Z and Beyonce did a good thing by keepin their wedding private…good job!!!
Whitney Houston looks beautiful as she graces the cover of Ebony Magazine for the October 2009 issue. Her album is in stores now… and if your in the NYC area tomorrow (9/1) she will be performing live for Goodmorning America in Central Park. Doors open at 11am.

Check out Ciara’s new Gap advertisement for Skinny Jeans. I think she looks really nice in this pic. The Gap is also celebrating their 40th anniversary.

Jay-Z graces the cover of the October issue of XXL in the magazine he talks his music, Roc Nation, Beyonce and more. Here are two excerpts from the interview:
Criticism of D.O.A
“I’m not hating on young people. Like, when people say that, I’m like, What are you talking about? It’s just stupid. I’m not hating on young people… I’m not Bill Russell, [saying] Michael Jordan ain’t shit. I’m saying Lil Wayne and Kanye are like LeBron and Kobe. My job as someone at the forefront of the game is to leave it in a better position than when I came in. Same way that Russell [Simmons] left it to me. ’Cause this thing saved my life. Literally. So I have a responsibility to it karmically. And after that it’s on you. I did my part. I made ‘D.O.A.’ I said it. I made the statement. I made the push. Here, y’all take it from here.”
His Standing in the Game:
“But when I say I’m the best, I don’t say that outta my ass. I say that with all my stats behind me. I put that against anybody. I mean anybody. I really believe that… I believe in a lot of things.
I believe that ‘SportsCenter’ is the best thing on TV. I shouldn’t have to prove it. But I do have these stats to prove it. I’m talking about real run. I’m not talking about years off. I’m talking about straight—boom, boom, boom—back to back. We’re not talking about heritage acts either. We’re not talking about respect what I’ve done. I’m talking No. 1 [albums] 10 times. The Beatles is the only one [to have more
No. 1 albums]. They got 19, and if I get a surge of creativity, I could make nine albums next year.”

Also it has been reported that Beyonce will indeed be performing Sweet Dreams at the MTV Video Music Awards to premiere on Sept 13.
