Rihanna gets fun and lively on the cover of the August issue of Seventeen Magazine. She speaks on her latest fashion trends as well as her favorites. Here are some excerpts.

Mini Madness

“I’m a big fan of mini-dresses – they’re my favorite silhouette – because they’re flirty and you get to show a little skin without revealing too much, especially if the sleeves are long and cover up a lot of the body. I also like dresses that come to the knee that are a little tight and show off the shape of the body.”

Getting her dollar’s worth

“I like to wear out my clothes because I think I spend so much money on them that I have to wear every cent out of them. I especially love when I have a piece, like a jacket, that I can wear so many different times with so many different things.”

 

On Her shoe and sneaker game

 

“I like ankle boots because somehow they always give a great shape to my leg, like I’ve been working out a lot!”

 

I love sneakers and my favorite sneaker is the Nike Blazer. I don’t really like low-tops, but if a high top is paired with skinny jeans, it makes your feet look really big, but the Blazer gives a really good shape for girls, especially with skinny jeans.”

Dawn Richards of Dirty Money, gets chosen to grace the July/August cover, as well as have a photo spread in Ghubar Magazine. Ghubar Magazine is an online French magazine which shows the latest fashion trends, and shopping tips along with spotlight on up and coming people.

Teyana Taylor covers the Summer issue of Bleu Magazine. Finally she gets some work! not the work I was looking for, as in musical wise, but its good to see Teyana on a cover of a magazine and not always in twit pics or something. She looks hawt!

This issue will be a double cover issue with the actor Brian White as Bleu Magazine celebrates their 4 yr anniversary as a publication. Kudos!

Alicia Keys covers the June 2010 issue of IN New York Magazine. In this issue she speaks on growing up with her mom, her musical and dance lessons and of course her fiance Swizz Beatz. Recently they purchased a penthouse that is located downtown in NYC that is estimated to cost $14 million dollars. Wow. This friday, Alicia will be in NYC performing in concert which I will be there. Toni Braxton gets orangy on the newest issue of Upscale Magazine.  Inside she breaks her silence on why her and her husband broken up and the her new reality show on Bravo.

Alicia Keys is featured in Elle Magazine as Elle’s Rock of Angels:Women In Music 2010, and Rihanna was on the cover of the same July Issue. In the magazine Keys says:

My look isn’t plotted out, like, I’m going to have red hair because it’s a new record. It has to be genuine, not a branding concept.

Sources say Alicia Keys was talking about Rihanna, which I don’t know it may or may not be the case. If she is it would only mean that Rihanna is doing her job, cm-on to have one of the greatest in the industry take a jab at you has to mean your doing something that shes not.

Nicki Minaj is doing a lot of promo photos, and now she has done a photo shoot with Rap Up. I love these photos especially the second one, she is going deep into her ancestry with that photo.

Nicki Minaj covers Black Men magazine, and TaSh has more photos of Nicki, from the shoot. I love Nicki Minaj short wig hair do’s, it works for her , and brings her face out.

I didn’t even recognize this was Amber Rose, I am so used to the bald cut, that she fooled me with the short blond wig. Amber posed for YRB magazine and she also did an interview. These photos I have to say are great. To check the interview go HERE .

T.I covers the June/July 2010 issue of XXL Magazine and fights to defend the whole issue of his alleged snitching. He speaks that he did not snitch, and that he basically earned his shorter prison sentence based on what he did ie: community service/reality show. He also touches base that he complied with the G Code so how can he be a snitch.

“What people don’t take into consideration is the reason that I was eligible for certain agreements that they weren’t eligible for was because I made myself a useful member of society,” “Most muthaf—as catch cases and get time. My n—a, you wasn’t doing sh– when you was out here, so wasn’t no reason for them to keep you out here.”

“Please understand the G code that I learned from, if you speak out your mouth that a muthaf—a is telling on somebody and you can’t come with indisputable, irrefutable facts to support that statement, that makes you the sucker,” T.I. said. “You are now in violation of the G code. And there ain’t nobody, nowhere in naan jail sayin’ I was on they paperwork.”

Honestly T.I is my boo, and I will still ride with him musically, but lets be real,  he got out early because he was a celebrity. And then those negroes who be really on the street can detect a spot or wrinkle, so he who knows… but he not gonna tell you if he really did because he the King Of The South!! lol
