Lil Kim spoke on why she didn’t put out any music after she was released from jail, her current music career now, her relationship with Scott Storch and how she was really about to marrying him, and of course Nicki Minaj and more. After months of speculations, it has finally been confirmed a few days ago via Twitter from Teyana Taylor that she is not the first lady/princess/baby of Kanye’s label G.O.O.D music. If you remember she was signed to Pharell’s Star Trek label but after “Google Me” back in 2008 we haven’t heard much material from her besides mixtapes and some features and choreography so Teyana was asked to be release from the label to explore other options. Below she gives us insight as to why she made the decisions to sign with them.
I had been working with the whole G.O.O.D music family for quite awhile, since we all did the ‘Dark Fantasy’ thing and around that time I was still signed to StarTrek/Interscope and I asked for a release because I just wanted to find myself as an artist. I had other options to go to different labels but I felt like G.O.O.D music would be where I would be a [good fit]. When I finally got my release, I released my mixtape and I signed my contracts and here we go now. I signed my contracts a while back but we put the press release out today.
This is the second go ’round for me, and hopefully, the second time’s the charm. I signed to Star Trak with Pharrell when I was 15, and now I’m at a new chapter in my life where I’m signed to G.O.O.D. Music, and I’m blessed and happy to be part of the team.

The “Last Dance” singer Donna Summer has passed away. The 63 year old Queen of Disco singer with five Grammys was actually battling lung cancer (which I didn’t know) privately for several years and has died today. According to TMZ’s own Harvey Levin, he tweeted that she could of gotten it after inhaling particles from the 9/11 tragedy.It was said that Donna was working on an album and was the last steps of finalizing it.
Our condolences go out to her family during this time.
After this week’s episode of BBW and seeing Tami be a total bully towards Kesha, this left a serious bad taste in everyone’s mouths including her twitter followers. Now Tami has deleted her twitter account along with her daughters as each day they were bombarded with negative tweets from all of their followers because of the way Tami has acted. Tami responds to why she deleted her account and mentions that she does plan to come back after her new opportunity gets announced.
I deactivated my twitter for the time being because I have been blessed with a wonderful opportunity to work with phenomenal actors on a new television show. I didn’t want to wake up to the continual negativity from a mistake made over four months ago, which I have openly acknowledged and apologized for to overshadow the blessing of this moment. I plan to reactivate my twitter when a formal announcement has been made about this new opportunity with the hopes of putting Basketball Wives behind me.
I am assuming when she means putting BBW “behind her” is she may be quitting the show. Maybe all those rumors related to her not attending the reunion is true and she may not return for the next season?
