Finally Nicki Minaj goes back to her real rapping roots where she recently dropped a track featuring Lil Wayne called Roman Reloaded. The only thing that’s annoying is with the rappers in general is really drying out all the analogies in their rapping. Can people rap without that? I think there are other ways in getting your point across with out a “it’s going down… basement!” But anyways at least I can tolerate this track.

In honor of Whitney Houston, I decided to make this week’s flashback friday her first single when she hit the scene. This track is titled “You Give Good Love” off her self titled debut album back in 1985. Enjoy!
I was able to listen in on the DMX interview during yesterday morning’s Breakfast Club show with Angela Yee, Charlamagne, and DJ Envy. DMX spoke on how he has ill feelings towards Jay-z because he felt he dropped him from the label (Def Jam) in order to rise to the top. He also mentioned how he doesn’t like Rick Ross because he raps about food and weed too much, doesn’t like any thing about Drake, but yet he is feeling J.Cole before he even knew who J.Cole was. I mean how low can you go? people are so desperate to make a buck that they are willing to do anything including selling a picture that they took of Whitney Houston in her casket and sell it to the National Inquirer. Of course the National Inquirer ran with the story with a full blown front page and says how her jewlery was worth $500,00 and she wore her favorite purple dressed and gold slippers. Rumors ran that it was taking in the funeral home where Whitney was for a short period of time, but the funeral director claims this wasn’t the case.
According to Fox News, this wasn’t the only time that the National Inquirer did this as they posted photos of Elvis Presley when he died and even John Lennon of the Beatles right after he passed away.
You would think they would learn after 2 occasions of doing something tacky, I guess 3 times is the charm. And the nerve for the publisher of N.I to say how beautiful and work of art that she was.
Just after a few months of announcing she had a 1 yr old daughter named Lyric, actress Kyla Pratt has decided to show her off via twitter with a collage of different pics of her daughter that her and her boyfriend Compton (real name Danny) put together.

Chris Brown released his video for his latest single “Turn Up The Music“, and I must say I love, love, love this song, and the video just adds to it, besides the fact that I love to dance myself !!!

It has been a while since I have done an interview, and this time I wanted to do an interview with Brandy Kennedy CEO of Beez Trendy Treasures, because I have been a fan of her website for a while, and just watching the journey to when her website first developed up until now, is amazing. I honestly love her drive and ambition which is one of the main reasons I had to get an interview with her. 1. Introduce yourself for those that don’t know who you are?
My name is Brandy Kennedy, CEO and creator of Beez Trendy Treasures. I am a 23 years old mother of two. I love business, fashion, and P/R. I don’t work alone though! The president of BTT, Vanessa Johnson was brought on as a creative director ad stylist for the company and has become apart of BTT history!
2. How did Beez Trendy Treasure come about, and how did you come up with the name for your website?
Beez Trendy Treasures came about after seeing a void in the cyber world for a online store that had the same intimate setting and flare that many boutiques have. Also with the way the I set up BTT is was easy for me to reach thousands of ladies and through the powers of social media build a very strong connection and individual relationships with all of my consumers. They are able to talk with me and see what I do on a daily basis in order to build trust on the things that I bring them. I got the name after playing with some words actually. Bee has been a nickname of mine for years and I just went from there. I didn’t want to box myself by naming the website in a way that would tie me to a special market so I kept it broad and went with Beez Trendy Treasures because in the future I plan to carry everything imaginable for women.
3. I know that on your website you sell jewelry, and clothes, will your site soon be selling shoes as well?
Yes, we are actually in the process of expanding. We are relaunching the website on March 1, 2012 to introduce more clothing, a larger variety of jewelry and more. We really want to be able to accommodate a wide variety of women.
4. Where do you see BTT in the future?
BTT started off as a stand alone online boutique but we are now focusing on branding the name, so that we can do way more than we ever imagined. We are doing personal shopping and styling, photoshoot management, event planning, and promotion and web consulting. We as BTT, have a lot to offer and we don’t want to limit ourselves to anything. We hope to one day be able to put the BTT stamp of approval on anything, whether it be clothing, a trend, or even a person or another brand and it be successful.
5. What inspires the pieces you sell and offer on your website?
We definitely try hard not to stray from the current trends. Myself and Vanessa Johnson are the ones who chooses every single piece and we work hard to bring our clients things that are fresh and ahead of its time.
6. As far as the vintage pieces that are soon to come on your site, what will they consist of?
We are especially excited about the vintage pieces. This has been a love of Vanessa Johnson’s from the beginning. She came to me with this idea and after we thought it over it turned out to be a great idea. We will be carrying all different types of pieces, in all different sizes. There will be something for everyone.
7. You have a lot of female buyers, what is the most important thing you look for when shopping for fashionable pieces to sell on your site?
We want to make sure we have something for everyone. We know that as our fan base grows we will reach many different types of people and we don’t want to be boxed into a certain category or not grow with our fan base.
8. Some last words about BTT that you would like to leave everyone with?
We appreciate all of our supporters and we love feedback! We are constantly working on improving and getting better. Our philosophy is Let BTT Be Your Addition…Your Style Can Turn Heads Too…which basically means a trend can be worn by anyone but it is how you wear it that makes you you and your style personal. We totally believe that and we want all of our clients to feel beautiful and trendy.
