First I wanted to wish Tyler Perry a very Happy 41st Birthday. Instead of a gift to him, he gave us a gift which was the movie trailer for the anticipated For Colored Girls Movie. If you remember the movie’s release date has been moved up to Nov 5 instead of Jan 2011. After watching the trailer, it was very powerful and I look forward to definitely seeing it in theatres.

Heisman 2005 Award winner and NFL player Reggie Bush gave back his trophy after his school USC received backlash and speculation of their recruitments back in 2005. It has been reported that Bush accepted improper benefits while at USC and was ineligible during the 2005 season. After the hoopla, Reggie decided he’d had enough and released a statement. Though the statement helped relieve some weight off of Reggie, it didn’t help USC as the Trojans are on four years’ probation, a two-year bowl ban and a reduction in football scholarships
“One of the greatest honors of my life was winning the Heisman Trophy in 2005. For me, it was a dream come true. But I know that the Heisman is not mine alone. Far from it.
