It’s been kept under wraps for a while, but Life & Style recently announced that Beyonce has been working with Lady Gaga for her new music video “Video Phone“. I was wondering whether or not Bey planned on putting it out since months ago I posted a Demo of the choreography for the video.
“On Oct. 7, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were working on the video together at a studio in NYC,” “Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight.”
In this upcoming video Beyonce wears a feathered dress, while Lady Gaga will be doing the norm… something wild of course. can’t wait to see this video, this shall be interesting!
Singer Leona Lewis was in London at the Waterstones bookstore signing autographs for the release of her new book, when she was attacked. It was reported that the man came up from the line and punched her for no reason on the side of her head. Cops arrested the 29 yr old immediately and Leona left the signing to visit the doctor as precaution. London’s Metropolitan police said in a statement that a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and is being held in custody. Here is what BBC said a fan reported:
“My brother saw the whole incident. He [the attacker] walked up there with the book, she signed it and, as she looked up, he just punched her.
“He [my brother] actually heard the impact.”
Another eyewitness added: “She was running out with her hand over her eye and I just saw a man on the floor.
“Suddenly the security all jumped on him and they were trying to pull him out and he was just laughing, he thought it was funny.”
SMH sometimes I wonder about people these days. Leona Lewis’ autobiography book titled Dreams will be released next month.

The annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors aired last night at 9pm. This year they honored 25 years of Def Jam from LL Cool J, The Beastie Boys to Run DMC and more. I can say I actually enjoyed it. Many artists came out to performs from Ashanti, Ja Rule, Rick Ross, Eminem, Gym Class Heroes, Public Enemy and more. My highlights for the evening is when Foxy came out to perform I’ll Be with Fabolous. That was one of my fav songs back in the 90′s…. would have been hot if she did it with Jay-Z. Other classic performances was Method Man with Mary J Blige in Your All I Need, to Onyx with my fav joint Slam. Check out a few of the videos below.

I haven’t done a blurb in a while, so I decided to do one today because I ran across this video of the Miss Hampton University Pageant. There was a lot of controversy due to a white female winning Miss Hampton University because it is a predominately black school.
I remember just this past weekend, I went to visit my sister at her school which is a HBCU. We attended the volleyball game in which they were versing Hampton University. What I noticed was that the majority of the girls on both teams were white.I questioned what made them attend the school, and a friend mentioned because they received a free ride under a minority sports scholarship. The Chicago native, Kid Sister debuts her cover art for her album titled Ultra Violet. With already the hit Pro Nails ft. Kanye West, she recently finished shooting the video with producer Sarah Chatfield for her latest track Right Hand Hi. Kid Sister plans to drop her album on November 17th.
Rihanna has announced some news via her twitter, facebook, website wherever to say that her tentative album release date will be November 23rd. According to Rihanna Daily, The album titled The Wait Is Ova, may be scrapped so as of right now we can say her album is untitled. Keeping on the album news, Miss Info reported that Lil Wayne plans on dropping both The Carter IV and the Rebirth on the same day. Kind of crazy don’t you think? because it would be like the battle between hiphop and rock. Lil Wayne also got the chance to interview with Tim Westwood, in which he commented on the what was in his “cup“. I think it was the sizzurp, but anyways he believes what was in his cup brought him the success at where he is today:
“…whatever the hell was in my cup the only reaction I made was I got more popular, more successful, did a lot more things than I’ve ever done, picked up a guitar, learned how to play it, learned how to put on the autotune and stretch my voice, and became #1 in the country with everything that I dropped, I probably should pick that cup back up….dont judge me. He was on “60 Minutes” with Katie “Curry”, was you? He won 4 Grammys, the year of the cup, did you? No. What the hell was in his cup. Whatever he was drinking must be a m-f’in success potion. That’s why I tell people f–k you….suck my cup, and my d–k, b—h.”
Hmm.. I wonder if he will be antsy enough to bring the “cup” back for The Carter IV?
