I was like omg I forgot about these three girls. From the UK Cleopatra was a trio pop group that had the smash hit back in the day “Cleopatra Coming Atcha“. From the baggy clothes and thick braids, to the sophisticated look with heels. The lead singer from the group “Cleo” is back debuting her single as a solo artist called feelin like this. The Dream hit up Snoop’s MTV show Dogg After Dark on March 4th. Other Guest celebs were Meagan Good, and Soulja Boy who also performs. I have yet to even watch the show but one day I will remember. Diddy posted a new video clip of him and Cassie working in the studio on her new album. One of the tracks that they were mixing was her new track maybe her new single “Must Be Love“. I like this track alot. It gives me that 90′s beat feel a lil bit which I been wanting someone to do, and its so funny b/c he says its a badboy classic. If her voice was a lil bit tighter this track would be really tough than what it already is. Another weird thing is Day 26 covered the same track…. I guess he wanted a female on the track instead. LeToya Luckett celebrated her 28th birthday at Bambou in Houston Texas a couple of days ago. People that came out to celebrate with her were Mim‘s who also performed, Estelle, Kid Cudi and old friend from the original destiny’s child Latavia.

Mya is trying to make a comeback and plans on dropping an album this summer. Here is a video clip of her in the studio with an upcoming producer names Sunrize. They were listening to some tracks that can possibly make it on the album. I think they are pretty decent, now she just needs some hot lyrics. I noticed she sings “Never Lay a Hand on Me again imma have to tell my family and my friends.” Maybe a possible track about domestic violence??In the meantime Mya will be featured on Shawty Lo’s new album, and she is currently in a new music video with upcoming rapper named Z-Ro called I’m Tired. With all the issues and controversy surrounding Chris Brown and his case, Chris decided to withdraw his name from the Annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Chris Brown was nominated for two words which were Favorite Male Singer, and he was up for Favorite Song “Kiss Kiss”. A statement was released from Chris on Wednesday, reading:
Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song.”
“Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”
I respect his decision, and during this time I think that this was the right decision, and to set an example especially for the youth that do look up to him. I also do respect Nickelodeon as well, for still standing by him during the situation and not be bias by following everyone else that gave him the ax.
