If you were a person that watch the good sitcoms back in the day, then you will all remember Living Single with Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, Erika Alexander, T.C Carson, John Henton and Kim Fields. I loved this show…. it still comes on I think on Oxygen during the day time. So sad good shows like these are being taken over by REALITY SHOWS! …Above is the intro and below is a clip of the episode where Cece Winans was on the show. Enjoy!

Here is Beyonce’s newest L’Oreal ad this time for lipstick. Introducing the New Coulour Riche infused with Serum. Honestly I don’t like the way she looks in this add, her hair looks dry and that red lipstick is killing me. Why can’t people be in ad’s and look realistic?? meaning wearing something you would actually wear and not just for the damn ad.. maybe it will sell even better (in my opinion).
The movie PUSH: Based on a Novel by Sapphire. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize, PUSH features Mo’Nique, Gabourey Sidibe, Mariah Carey, Paula Patton, and Lenny Kravitz. PUSH was directed by Lee Daniels. It’s the story of an obese 16-year-old illiterate Harlem girl name Claireece “Precious” Jones who’s pregnant (for the second time) by her own father, lives with her monstrously abusive mother (played by Mo’Nique), and has almost given up on life. It also has been reported that it will actually be turned into a movie. It has been officially purchased by Lionsgate, and Oprah and Tyler Perry got their hands on the film as well and their production companies will help with the finances. Based on the film clip it seems very intriguing and I would be interested in seeing the movie.
A few days ago I posted some audio with Etta James talking about Beyonce saying she gonna whup her and all of this for singing her song “At Last” and saying Barack not her president caused a lot of media attention. I guess this brought concern to Etta and now she claims that it was all just a joke…. for real Etta?? yea right. According to news reports, Etta said:
I’m a comedian besides a singer,” James said in a telephone interview from her home on Thursday morning. “I wasn’t doing it to be hateful.”
It also mentioned that James took a lot of pride in her music, which I don’t blame her because it is her song, and Etta felt some way left out saying: “She got up there and sang it and didn’t give me a chance to sing ‘At Last,’”.
As for the remarks on the president, she claims she was talking out of her ears and that “He’s the United States President“…. now to me I know that’s unreal for the fact that she said in the audio, he ain’t my president… thats yall president.
